Kick off the weekend a little early with our Friday afternoon SPEED TRAP sprint contest! Starting at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th, cyclists will take turns sprinting past the radar sign to see who can clock the fastest speed. The sprint contest will run from roughly 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Church Street in front of the park where Cycle Sequatchie is held. Special prizes will be awarded to the sprinters with the fastest speeds. Participation in the sprint contest is FREE, and no registration is required. Just show up and take as many turns as you'd like!

EVERYONE who takes a turn will receive a free t-shirt regardless of speed!

We'll also have packet pick-up available at the park from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

 

Plan to stick around the park that evening as well, as Dunlap kicks off two days of Oktoberfest starting at 5:00 p.m. with live music, food, and beer from Dunlap's own Sequatchie Valley Brewing Company! The party is open to everyone, but we're considering it a special show of southern hospitality for our out-of-town cyclists. Welcome to Sequatchie Valley y'all!
