Sponsorship Opportunities

Cycle Sequatchie was first held in October of 2019 as a way to promote Sequatchie Valley as an outdoor recreation playground. With the only other significant road cycling event in the Chattanooga region held in the spring, Cycle Sequatchie was well positioned to meet the growing demand for cycling events in the region.

That first event attracted over 330 cyclists, with 96% of the respondents in our post-ride survey indicating they had a positive experience. Despite having to cancel the 2020 version of Cycle Sequatchie due to Covid, the 2021 event drew over 450 cyclists from 16 states, plus friends & family. While the 2021 event followed the original model of having a locally-sourced farm-to-table meal and outdoor expo, the bike routes were expanded significantly, including the addition of a full 100-mile "century" route. We also added three optional climbs to the routes and offered prizes for those who climbed them.

The new routes were well received, and the 2021 post-ride survey showed that 99% of the respondents had a positive experience, with the majority of those characterizing it as "awesome!" With the enthusiastic feedback we received, we fully expect to have the vast majority of 2021 registrants return - and bring their friends! With all these firsthand word-of-mouth referrals, plus increased marketing on our part, we anticipate over 600 registrants in 2022!

Get in front of this audience and support a great cause by signing up for one of the sponsorships we've listed below! Prefer to offer support in a different way? This is a grassroots, community-driven event, and we welcome any and all creative ideas for involvement. Contact us and let us know what you have in mind! In exchange for your support, we'll provide you with plenty of exposure at the event, on our website, and through social media and other channels.

Our goal with the event is to bring attention to Sequatchie Valley as an amazing outdoor recreation playground and to support efforts to preserve the natural beauty that makes this region such a special place. To that end, proceeds from the event will go to the Land Trust for Tennessee and Thrive Sequatchie, as both nonprofit organizations promote environmental stewardship and responsible tourism.
